If you're planning on giving Mom the gift of music this Mother's Day, there are a few do's and don'ts. For example, Boyz II Men's 'A Song for Mama'? A do. Nirvana's 'Rape Me'? A don't.

I thought it wasn't funny at all.

In very poor taste to say least, but what else would you expect to see and hear on AOL, on Mothers Day.

I found it absolutely worthless and not entertaining at all.

This pwns! Really! "Oh, I'll sing about f-ing people and rape and stuff, but I'm now somehow ashamed of this when it comes to my mom." These songs are hoes; if ya can't bring 'em home to mama, stay the hell away!
That bonus song brought me back to Mythology class, though with the wrongly titled "Oedipal complex" (did you know he didn't marry his mom on purpose like this psychological theory implies??)

Awww...people, come on. I thought this was really cute. I like Trent Reznor (although I don't take his lyrics literally). We all have certain types of music that we may not feel appropriate for Mom . Just the idea of mixing a CD for Mom on Mother's Day is a sweet, personal, endearing thought. But the advice to avoid certain songs out of the universal respect for Mom made it, I thought, halarious.
