Kings of Leon Hoedown for Free

Southern rock outfit Kings of Leon are back on the road, kicking off their tour with the Stills in Texas (where Madonna thinks people golf, apparently). Five shows into their 11-date tour, both bands are settling into Tulsa, Oklahoma tonight to give the kids a special free show with unsigned Oklahoma buzz band the Effects.

The Kings will pick up their next tourmate in October. A singer-songwriter by the name of Bob Dylan. Maybe you've heard of him? Keeping up the arena shows, KOL then head to Australia in November to support another little band called Pearl Jam.

All of these dates are in support of the Kings' limited edition six-song EP, 'Day Old Belgian Blues,' recorded live in November '04 and only available here.

Put on your cowboy boots, toss back a fifth and scoot on down to see Kings of Leon, the Stills and the Effects. Full details on tonight's free shindig after the jump.
